Meet Citrine
Citrine is a 17 year old orange tabby who came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a placid, sweet, agreeable little lady who hardly acts her age. She looks like a young woman half her age! She loves gazing out the window and getting pets. She gets along fine with other cats.
She may do fine in a home with other animals and small children so long as they give her the space she requires. She prefers a low-energy, calm, loving environment—like her last home.
(Citrine's adoption fee has been fully paid for by Patricia Cummings in the hope that it may help an overlooked senior cat get adopted. Thank you Mrs. Cummings!)
We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children. This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet.
Please let us know if you are looking for a barn or outside cat. We do occasionally get outdoor cats needing homes, most in our general population will not do well in outdoor living.
If you are interested in adopting or the adoption process please visit our website at www.adoptmountianpets.org where you will find the application and other useful information or call the Shelter between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday 970 626 2273.
