Winston English Setter Columbus, OH

Winston is a one year old ambitious and active setter! He gets along well with his former foster sibling setters and a small cat. Winston sleeps in his kennel at night or more recently with his human sibling. He finds just the right place to place his head on your lap.

Winston loves to play, play, play! He and his foster setter sisters romp and tumble. Winston has a very forward play style and can be a bit overwhelming for smaller dogs. slow controlled introductions are recommended.

He is very loving with the 13 year old human but because of his energy level, monitoring during playtime with younger children is critical. He is still a puppy and needs time to adjust and settle. He will benefit from plenty of exercise and continued training.

Winston is still very curious, inquisitive and working on house manners. His foster is working on leash manners too but he gets so exited! He enjoys toys and chew bones.

He will let you know when he’s ready to come inside after playing with his silly high pitched bark. When Winston is done playing, he loves to snuggle. He enjoys watching movies with his family curled up on the couch or the corner of a chair.

Winston would love a big yard and be the center of your universe. Couch snuggles preferred:) He is eager to please, high energy and very treat motivated. Winston loves spending time with his humans but also needs his independence to explore the yard.

All adoptive homes must have a fenced yard or other type of containment or boundaries for the dog. Vet and personal reference checks as well as a home visit will be conducted prior to final adoption approval for all OESR dogs.

Adoption fees range from 250.00 to 395.00
