"It is a lot easier to be brave when you know you have no alternative." When I found myself in a pound emaciated with a brand new litter of pups about to be euthanized, I had to be brave. My name is Valka and I am the most amazing momma in the world. My pups and I were so lucky to be saved in time and now we all get to find wonderful homes where we will be loved and cherished! I am a 3 year old, 50ish lb., female, retriever mix. I am all finished with house training. I am crate trained but do not need one. I adore everyone and everything... especially cuddles! I enjoy dogs, cats, and kids. I am a laid back darling who loves a good belly rub. I aim to please my people and am a smart little girl! I already know sit, down, and bunch of other commands and hand signals. I am a fabulous love bug who is so grateful for your love and affection. I will be dreaming of our happily ever after together, but until then, fill out my adoption application! I am ready to love you to bits!

*I am a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I now have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I have learned!*

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
