Meet Clue
Clue was born in July 2017 and is a Yorkie Cairn terrier mix.
Clue is a sweetheart! Clue loves to crawl up and snuggle on you... she will “cry” into your face for more snuggles.
She loves toys! House training is going very well. I’d say 95%. Oh, and she is a squirrel hunter!!
Clue has not shown any issues while with her foster mom, however, she was adopted for about 3 weeks and the adopter felt that she was aggressive with her current dog. The foster has not seen any aggression in her home - and She ranges between 8-12 dogs at a time.
Clue returned to our rescue with a limp in her left hind leg. Not sure how that happened and not speculating... but that would account for pain and uneasiness in a home.
We took her to our vet for x rays - and this is a excerpt from her findings.
Clue has significant changes to her left hip joint. She most likely will need a Femoral Head Osteotomy. This is not something I do. At a minimum, she needs to start a joint supplement. She should be maintained on pain medication. Her back pain may be referred from her hip. I think the biting when picked up is probably related to pain issues.
Clue had successful FHO surgery in the middle of December and has recovered beautifully!
Clue really wants to be the apple of your eye... she loves to snuggle in and get love.
