Meet Cisco:: 1 year old, 20 pounds, Neutered Male Pomeranian and Cattle Dog mix. (brother of Cyrus)

Available for Adoption!

This little cutie is full of spunk and personality. His breed mixture is perfectly distributed in his appearance and in his character. Cisco is a very intelligent boy who is very treat motivated and learns quickly, he has been through basic obedience training and is happy to participate in training, and LOVES catching frisbee and playing fetch. He will do best with an active family who will spend time teaching him new things and keeping him busy. He would make an excellent running/jogging partner and would excel in agility training! He is doing well with his foster's dogs and enjoys playing with them, and he is curious and sweet when meeting new people. He will need some leash training to help him become less reactive (barking/pulling) on walks. Cisco is full of affection and love and he is searching for the perfect forever home! Cisco does well with children but displays some typical herding breed/cattle dog behaviors and would do best with older children who are capable of redirecting this behavior.

$120 Adoption Fee.

All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs come spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

Along with other criteria evaluated in the application, a fenced yard is required to adopt. Please see our Fenced Yard Requirements tab on our website for more information.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue for adult dogs. Please see our Adoption Radius tab on our website for more info.

ADOPTION APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE:

To complete our easy online adoption application:

1. Go to our website at PeppermintPigAnimalRescue.org.

2. Read our ADOPTION PROCESS tab on our website.

3. Read the dog's bio on our website to check for specific requirements to adopt and to see if the energy, personality, size, etc. are the right fit for your family.

4. Complete our online Adoption Application.

5. We will contact you if you are selected for a meet.

All adoption information and applications can be found under the ADOPTION CENTER tab.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
