Requires: a home with a secure, fenced yard, could be with respectful children 12+ years old, needs another dog in the home approximately the same age.

We accept applications from Chatham Kent, Sarnia, London, Windsor and any points within these boundaries.

Riley is a 4 year old Shih Tzu boy. He's a bit shy initially but quickly warms up and shows his true personality. He's energetic outside and loves to chase squirrels and bark at them, while indoors he enjoys long naps by his person. That is until he's ready to play with his toys and then the squeakier they are the better! He tosses them all over the place and likes to have a collection of them in his bed too!

Riley gets along with other dogs and would do best with another friendly, young dog in the home. We are unsure about other small animals, such as cats. He's been through a lot of changes recently but is adapting well and quickly gets attached to his people. He's often looking out the window for his foster to come home and gives her an over the top welcome home when she comes in the door that often includes bringing her a shoe!

Riley is respectful of the home but is rough with his toys. He spends the night sleeping on the foster's bed and doesn't make a peep until morning. Riley weights 13 pounds and is a happy, affectionate boy!

Riley is neutered, microchipped, up to date with his vaccinations, heartworm negative and is on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
