Our buddy Buddy is looking for a permanent foster home in the Chatham-Kent area. Buddy is a senior blonde lab who needs a calm, peaceful home to live out his senior years.

Buddy sleeps a lot, and just likes to rest. He pulls hard on a leash, so a good yard to wander around in is more than enough. He will play fetch or tug-a-war, but tires easily. A good long nap in the sun is something he deserves. He loves car rides, so if you want to make his day, that’s the ticket.

Buddy does have a health issue that will eventually take him to the rainbow bridge, but we cannot predict when. This is why we will foster him permanently, and let him live out his life quietly and restfully. He deserves the best life possible until that happens. He does take medicine, but it’s a chewable and he has no issues with it.

Buddy needs to be the only animal in the home, as he’s just an old guy who wants peace. Buddy is a sweet fella who loves snuggles and pets, but will react with a growl if he’s startled.

Buddy is neutered, microchipped, up to date with his vaccinations, heartworm negative and is on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
