Opossum Chihuahua Conover, NC

Hi! My name is Opossum. I am an awesome little girl who would love a home of my very own. I was found running the streets in Conover and a nice family plucked me up and called Hartman’s Haven Dog Rescue. I was saved and I was so sick and so very tired. The vet and their staff think I am such a strong girl to have survived out in the heat and traffic as I have cataracts and am hard of hearing. I had a big surgery where they removed bladder stones, fixed a hernia and spayed me. I am HW negative and up to date on my shots. Life was hard on the street finding food as someone in my past pulled all my front teeth. Well I don’t care; my back ones work just fine. And don’t anyone rename me Gummy.
So, here is a little about me:
I am house trained, and crate trained.
I am a follower – I go where you go and I’m curious about everything.
I get along well with dogs after I meet them. I like to go to them with my 12 lb. big bark and then I just laugh and laugh. They are so surprised.
I don’t eat a lot which is good since I am on special food for my bladder.
I am leash trained and love short walks – there’s pep in my step.
I am about 10 years young in Chihuahua years, but age is just a number.
I love relaxing and taking naps. You don’t need to buy me any toys, never really got into that.
