Pete Golden Retriever & Labrador Retriever Mix Austin, TX

Hi my name is Pete and I am part of the “Kimball Pups” litter! I am a 4 month old Golden Retriever/Labrador mix. I use the word "litter" loosely as there was really just my brother Buddy and myself. We did not have the best start in life (in fact it was pretty rough), but have since hit the jackpot with our current foster mom. We are living with several large dogs in a foster home in TX. We have been enjoying a lot of playtime but are also happy for some "down time" snuggling together and with our foster mom. Our Texas foster mom has been spoiling us with a lot of love, care, socialization and food over the past 2 months and we have grown big and strong so now it is time for us to leave the nest and find our forever homes in New England.

My most favorite thing is playtime with my brother Buddy. I know I will miss him when he is adopted so my ideal home would include another doggie sibling. I would love to be part of a family with children too. I am crate trained and learning a lot of new commands including coming when I am called. I would love a home where there is a big yard so that I could spend my time outside surveying my surroundings and playing of course. A fenced yard would be ideal but not a requirement. I have not yet met a cat so I am not sure how I feel about them, but I think I might like to play with one! I am 25lbs so will be a medium to large sized adult.

I am still in my foster home in TX, but my bags are packed and we are making our way North next week! I am ready for my forever home and family.
