Meet Manie
Manie's birthday is 6/21/2018. He likes attention from people and gets along well with other dogs. His house training is still a work in process. As of 6/21/2019 he weighed 26 lbs and since he is just over 1 year old he has pretty much reached the size he will be as an adult.
We test all of the dogs that we rescue for Heartworm/Ehrlichia and Lyme disease. And Manie tested positive for Lyme disease (passed on by ticks). The Treatment for lyme disease is 30 days of antibiotics (Doxycycline). Manie is not showing any symptoms of the disease and we don't think he will need anymore treatments after his 30 day treatment with the Doxycycline.
