Atreyu Black Mouth Cur Mix Springfield, MO

Hi my name is Atreyu and this is my story... I, along with my 4 brothers and sisters, were left in a small crate on the side of the road one day in late May. Some nice people picked us up and took us to this awesome place where they gave us food, a bath and played with all of us. One by one these people took each of us into their homes, which has been so much better than the crowded crate with my stinky siblings. My foster dad has 3 other doggos in his home and wow they are so much bigger than me, but then again I am 4 months old. I am learning so much stuff from them though; we all go outside to potty, we eat our breakfast and dinner in our kennels, we all play together and when we get wore out we all relax and rest together! When it is bed time I get to sleep on this comfy bed my foster dad got for me and put in my kennel, although sometimes he lets me sleep in bed with him. I would love to stay with all of them, but there are a lot of other pups out there like me that need rescuing and if I find a new home then he can take in another abandoned pup like me and make them as happy as he did myself. I'm a little curious about cats, but kids are pretty cool and definitely fun! I am also trying to work on this leash stuff. It is going pretty well and I like that I get to explore the outdoors with it on. The vet says I’m a black mouth cur mix like someone named Old Yeller so I will probably be 50 to 65lbs once I grow up, also super smart and loving. My perfect home would be someone who has time to work with me and teach me all I need to know while I am a puppy that way I can grow up and be the best dog ever! I would not mind a fur sibling or two to play with either but it is not necessary if you have the time and energy to spend with me. I probably need a fence for now at least because, I do not like to brag or anything but, I am fast...like really fast. Hopefully you are just as fast when fill out that application!


My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
