Millie English Setter & Pointer Mix Chicago, IL

Millie loves her treats, playing with toys, walks, being close to her foster and lounging on the couch. She'd prefer to sleep in her dog bed or with the humans but is crated trained. Millie is almost 100% house trained and has come through her heart worm treatment like a champ. She just gets so excited with all the smells and sounds, sometimes she forgets what going out is about!

Millie is very social and does well meeting other dogs and humans. She gets really excited for dinner and especially for those treats. Millie is not currently in a home with children but there is no indication she wouldn't love to be with them.

Millie loves belly rubs and walks. Since completing her heart worm treatment, she will continue to need walks for a bit and follow up on her heart worm. Millie is definitely chill in the house and is super easy in public. She prefers to sleep late. Early risers take note:) She is not a hunter and prefers to bark at the birds and loves to take in her environment.

Millie is a happy girl who loves to be right by you in the kitchen and sometimes likes to counter surf. It's nothing she can't work on with her new forever family. After all, she's a perfect love and just needs a bit more help to be even better.

All adoptive homes must have a fenced yard or other type of containment or boundaries for the dog. Vet and personal reference checks as well as a home visit will be conducted prior to final adoption approval for all OESR dogs.

Adoption fees range from 250.00 to 395.00
