Meet Bear Richardson

Bear is a 3 year old Lab/German Shepard, about 60 lbs. Bear is a very smart and obedient dog. He needs to be an only dog. Bear is being fostered by a dog trainer and learning great skills. Bear is the type of dog that prefers human companionship and bonds strongly to his person. Bear is SUPER smart!!! He is active but also rests calmly and quietly in his crate. He would do well with an active family who will help stimulate him mentally and physically. He loves attention and belly rubs. He is house trained and crate trained. He would not do well in an apartment or any type of of housing where there are lots of new people or dogs.
He is neutered and vaccinated. He is not good with cats and has never been around children. With a person who will be his leader and someone to bond to, Bear will make an excellent companion. He is extremely loyal and social once he knows and trusts you. He takes an adjustment period and needs time/space to trust you in the beginning so anyone interested will need to be patient and understanding.
