Snickers Border Collie Mix Hood River, OR

My name is Snickers! I am a year and a half old Border Collie mix. I'm a very sweet and loving boy who loves to try and climb into your lap. I weigh 42 lbs. I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and my adoption fee is SPONSORED! I absolutely love squeaky toys, pouncing on things, and playing in the water. I'm full of puppy like energy and will be a constant source of entertainment! Really I'm just a big baby at heart, and want someone to love me unconditionally. I do need an outlet for my energy everyday, but calm down and will cuddle after I've been given a chance to romp around for a bit.

I really only get along with well-balanced, calm dogs. I get defensive around overly energetic dogs or new dogs I'm not introduced to properly. This could easily be handled with some training though (which I've started at the shelter, but I will need my forever family to continue with me. I was found as a stray so I am looking for a family to give me structure and routine so I can be the best pet I can be! I absolutely adore children. I have not been tested with cats.
