Made to love and be loved, Marcello, the 9-year-old Maltese is 19 pounds of softness and sweetness. Having entered our care when his owner went into hospice, he is the ultimate lap dog whose fluffy, non-shedding coat begs to be petted. Easygoing, eager to please and to shed some excess weight, he is happily on the hunt for a warm lap in a loving home, preferably without stairs to ease the strain on his hips and joints.
