Meet Carly
Carly was as stray picked up by a high volume kill shelter in NC. Upon intake they noticed a severe ear infection so they did some light treatment seeing that she was in pain. When we rescued her from the shelter we have her treated by a specialist. She had to have her inner ear canals removed so she is completely deaf. Carly is happy she is no longer in pain. She is a ball of happiness and loves everyone.
Carly does great with other dogs. We recommend that if adopted to a home with kids that they are over toddler age as she is still learning to not jump when excited. She also is good with cats!
Carly has just started learning sign language. We are trying to get her to realize that for guidance she needs to look at her human. This will come in time but an adopter will need to be comfortable and understanding that you cannot just call Carly to come. She’s a wonderful girl and worth the every effort.
