Meet Orson

AT PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE, WE UPDATE ALL OF OUR PETS ON A REGULAR BASIS.

IF YOU SEE ME HERE, I AM AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. PLEASE READ MY BIO BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT :)

Meet Orson:: 3 years old, 45 pounds, Neutered Male Boxer/Lab/Bully mix.

Available for Adoption!

Orson is an energetic, loyal, and fun loving pup who has the cutest heart-shaped, scrunchy nose! Orson has found himself searching for his forever home after living his whole life with his family, he had a minor incident with the neighbor's dog while they were both off leash. Other than some common high value treat guarding, which is easily preventable, Orson does well with the other dog in the home. Orson is extremely sweet and loves nothing more than to be around his people, and he is such a big love bug!

Orson has gone through some obedience training. He can heel on command during walks, knows sit, lay down, and shake. Orson's home had a fenced in yard and he loves to run around and play in it. He isn't big into toys but he loves to play with his people. Best of all, Orson is a snuggler! He loves to cuddle up with his people or curl up under the blankets to stay warm.

He is crate trained, housebroken, and well mannered in the home, but needs to be crated when left alone so he feels safe. Orson can be timid when meeting new people, but some good positive experiences will help him open up. Orson needs a fresh start in life and, even though does great with the children and 4 month old baby in his home, would do best starting over without small children so he can have some quiet time to adjust and bond with his new family. A calm, and well socialized dog should be fine for Orson, since the incident happened with a dog who was described to us as highly anxious and reactive to other dogs.

$120 Adoption Fee.
