Meet Piper
Birthday 9/14/2017
Piper is a purebred boxer who has had a rough time of it. She has been in 6 homes in the last year of her life through no fault of her own. She just came into our rescue March 15. What we have found so far is that Piper is housebroken, sits on command and is super playful. She is doing great with male dogs who are submissive. Female boxers are notoriously dominant and she has shown a dislike for other female dogs she has met. Piper was wierd and defensive when she first met her foster mom but warmed up after about 10 minutes. She has shown aggression towards men. We feel Piper will be fine in a dog savvy home. She just needs to be with someone who understands dogs and can work with her. She is very high energy so a fenced yard, a really big house, or an exercise junkie is required.
Donations can be available for immediate use if sent to Northeast PA Pet Fund and Rescue via PayPal nepapetfund@gmail.com
All adoption fees go towards getting the dogs up-to-date on all shots, bordetella, spay/neuter, micro-chip, and all vet visits to get them healthy!
