Meet Delta

Delta is 1 year and 8 months old and wants to be your new best friend! This sweet girl weighs 45 pounds and is brown and white with very short (easy to groom!) fur. She absolutely loves other dogs, and loves to play. She will gladly come meet you with a cute smile and her huge ears -- did you know dogs can hear 40% better than people?! We think she is a hound and pit bull mix. She is a higher energy dog that will need to get some exercise every day -- although she will gladly go wherever you want since she loves everyone and everything she meets! Expect her to flop over and ask for belly rubs within minutes of meeting her. She does seem to have a prey drive for cats though, and should not live with any feline companions.

She came to us from Alabama, where a tornado destroyed her shelter where she was waiting for her forever home.
