Sunny Chihuahua Mix Smithfield, NC

My name is Sunny.... I am named for my sunny disposition. I am a happy and energetic chihuahua mix. I am about 9 months old and weigh about 9 lbs., so I'm just a little girl. I have a very easy going personality but I still have a lot of energy. I might be a bit of a busy body. I get along just fine with most folks, although I will bark a little when someone new comes in the house. But, I warm up pretty fast. I am almost house trained and crate trained with just an accident every now and then. I sleep in my crate and night and never make a peep. I will admit, I still like to chew a little if I can find something small on the floor, but I don't chew furniture or anything too important. I have an old dog at my foster home and at first I annoyed her because I wanted to play but now I pretty much just leave her alone. I think I would like a friendly dog to play with. I really like to play! I like to chase things that move (squirrels, blowing leaves etc.) so I will need to be in a fenced in yard when I go outside or on a leash. Speaking of things that move...cats.... I have one cat here that is my buddy and we play all day, but there is another cat that is afraid of all dogs and she runs so I definitely have to chase her. So, I guess it all depends upon the cat! My foster mom hasn't seen me around kids, but she thinks that I would be good with kids. I will make a great companion for the perfect person. Maybe that is you!
