Byron Border Collie Mix Palatine, IL

Hi! My name is Byron which I think is "dogspeak" for bundle of energy and major player! My goal in life is to play with as many pups and smaller dogs as I possibly can and to wear them out. Then I can turn my attention to squeaky toys, antlers, and anything else I can find to play with. Yup, I like to live life to the hilt!

I’m a Chow Chow/Border Collie/Lab mix only 3 months old and growing (currently weighing 20 pounds). I am looking to find a family that has the time and patience to get to know me and continue my education on the important things in life — like the proper manners a good companion pup needs to succeed (where to potty, what to chew). Yeah, it’ll be a lot of work but oh-so worth it and, at the end of the day, you will have a best friend who will be there for you ALWAYS!

As I stated before, I do love to play so if you have another dog that would be terrific, because not only would we get to play together, but I could also learn from them, which would be an added bonus for everyone!

Please come meet me in person. Forgive me if I shy away, it's just that I need to play with all the dogs at the show and sometimes forget to check out the people, too. I am anxious though to start my forever. Might that be with you?

If we do not receive any communication from you, the dog may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along. :-)

However, visual breed identification is unreliable. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog’s individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess. Dogs are individuals.

Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near Chicagoland... we are sorry but we cannot accept any out of state applications. We look forward to speaking with you!
