Meet Skip:: 9 months old, 45 pounds, Neutered Male Labrador and Boxer/Bully type mix.

Skip is a handsome young tri-pawed sweetheart who is searching for a family to love forever. Skip was taken in by a vet after he had been hit by a car. Skip's leg had to be amputated after the accident because it was too damaged to save. Skip doesn't let it slow him down though! He is playful and sweet with everyone he meets, loves other dogs, and he's even good with cats! Skip has spent a month at the vet's office making friends with everyone who came in, but the vet wanted him to go to rescue so he could find a good home. He is housebroken and crate trained and a very well mannered young boy.

Skip is a very calm and gentle boy but he also loves to run and play in his foster's yard and loves leash walks!

$95 Adoption Fee.

Along with a thoroughly evaluated application, a fenced yard is required to adopt. Please see our Fenced Yard Requirements tab on our website for more information.

All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs come spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs. Please see our Adoption Radius tab on our website for more info.

ADOPTION APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE:

To complete our easy online adoption application:

1. Go to our website at PeppermintPigAnimalRescue.org.

2. Read our ADOPTION PROCESS tab on our website.

3. Read the dog's bio on our website to check for specific requirements to adopt and to see if the energy, personality, size, etc. are the right fit for your family.

4. Complete our online Adoption Application.

5. We will contact you if you are selected for a meet.

All adoption information and applications can be found under the ADOPTION CENTER tab.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
