Leia English Pointer Hilliard, OH

Hello! Hello! Hello!

Leia is an English Pointer and came to OESR with her setter friend. We just couldn't leave her behind. It's been a very long time but Leia is definitely ready to find her forever home. She is about 3/4 years old, house trained, doesn't mind baths, and loves attention. Leia has mastered walking on a lead and is polite. This pointer girl will make you smile with her personality!

Leia is relatively high energy dog and would do well with agility training or another challenging activity. She needs room to run.
She gets along well with other dogs and is awesome with people. She likes to play ball and romps happily in her big yard.

Leia is crate trained and uses it as her safe space. She spends the day in her crate while her foster is at work but has a dog sitter that comes in the middle of the day to let everyone out. She lives with 4 other dogs and they all get along great!

Leia knows how to sit, wait, down, come, drop it and has good recall. She will sit and wait for her signal when it’s time to eat.
This beautiful girl is eager to learn and to please her humans. She is active and loves to run and jump.

Leia loves to go to the beach! She prances when excited and will definitely let you know when its time to go out.

After Leia gets her exercise, she loves to snuggle. She is in great health and needs a forever home to continue with her training and challenge her to be the best she can be. Leia has not been around cats or children. Her foster believes older children would be fine but little ones could be knocked over by her exuberance.
