Meet Griffey:: 2 years old, ~12 pounds, Neutered Male Yorkshire Terrier mix.
Available for Adoption!
Little Griffey was found as a stray and no one ever claimed him. This boy is as cute as they come, but he is looking for a very specific kind of home. Griffey needs a home with someone who will give him plenty of time to learn to trust and who is prepared to handle a couple nips before he gets to a point where he feels safe and confortable enough to bond to them. Once Griffey bonds, he is a one person dog.
Griffey does not do well with children and is very defensive with visitors, but he is a total lovebug with his foster mom, who has taken the time to gain his trust and win him over. Griffey does well with other dogs and loves to play with them.
Along with a thoroughly evaluated application to find the right home for him, a fenced in yard is required to adopt Griffey.
$95 adoption fee. Griffey is neutered, current on vaccinations, current on heartworm and flea prevention, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped.
Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:000pmto 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.
IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
