Tuesday Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Meet Tuesday, a 2 month old, 8 pounds (and growing) Terrier mix puppy. This boy has energy that will go until he plops down to sleep, and trust us, naptime is naptime!

Mama was a pregnant stray. Tuesday is one of seven puppies in her litter (each one carefully named by the foster's kids for a day of the week).

As a 2 month old, Tuesday will need all the training that comes with owning a brand new puppy. He is currently working on pee pad training and is showing progress and though not yet housebroken, he does show signals when he needs to go.

While he has not been crate trained yet, he does live in a pen with his siblings and seems fine with that. Like any puppy, he probably would want to chew things that do not belong to him but he has plenty of toys to help keep him busy. Little Tuesday is content sharing toys with his siblings and with the other dogs in the household.

Tuesday is comfortable with people being around his food and takes treats with enthusiasm, which will come in handy for training.

Get your application in now and make plans to visit Tuesday at the Second City Canine Rescue adoption event this Saturday! This day of the week is sure to give you years of joy.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must send an application or email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org prior to a Saturday Adoption Event so we know you plan on attending. If we do not receive any communication from you, the dog may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along. :-)

The breed or breed mix listed for each dog is simply a guess. The profile software program requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. However, visual breed identification is unreliable. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog’s individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess. Dogs are individuals.
