In an effort to save more lives, HT is allowing expedited adoptions for certain animals if applicants bring required paperwork. You can bring your new family member home more quickly by bringing your current pets' vet records, a copy of your lease or landlord letter stating you are permitted to have pets, and photos of your home. This is sweet little Sally, a flat-coated retriever mix from Fayetteville, WV. She is a small girl at just 37 lbs. and eager to find her forever home. Sally would do best in a quiet environment in an adult home. She loves to cuddle and very snuggly and gets attached easily. She is a bit anxious and will need a patient adopter. She a beautiful girl who is crate trained.

**We found out that Sally has abnormally small kidneys and may have a condition called an ectopic ureter. That means her "piping" is not attached correctly, which is causing her to leak. We are working on funds to get her surgery to correct the ectopic ureter.

**Update- Sally will have surgery on March 15, 2019

Update: Sally’s follow-up appointment with her surgeon on March 28. Her surgery was successful and she has completely healed from it! She is able to walk, run, play, go up and down stairs, etc.

We have noticed a huge improvement in her incontinence. She is drinking a lot of water and she needs to go out every few hours to potty, but she is not “dribbling” like she was before. She only has accidents if she doesn’t get outside often enough (this happens overnight and if we’re away from the house for too long).

She will need to continue eating the special food for kidney health and she might need to take Proin for any continuing urinary incontinence.
