Back in mid September, 5 kittens were found and 2 came to my house to learn all about houses, people, and dogs. For the first few days, they hid behind the books and that’s how “George Orwell” and his sister, “Harper Lee,” got their names.
He learned all about life in the house, getting his nails trimmed, studying the fish tank, and dogs. Out of all the things he has met, dogs are his absolute favorite!! He loves to play and have adventures. He likes to get petted, but then he has other places to explore and needs to get going to the next thing. He would make a great companion for a cat-loving dog!!
In mid October, the kittens were neutered and vaccinated. That’s when his sister started to have health problems and she tested positive for FIV. The kittens are still a bit young for the test to not be a false positive, but with her fragile health, we think she does have it. He can be tested when he is old enough. But we think it’s wise to assume he will need to live inside, in case he does test positive. He is a happy and healthy kitten though, and should live a very normal life.
