Gina American Eskimo Dog Elmhurst, IL

Please meet Chicagoland Eskie Rescue's Gina! Gina is a pretty Mini Eskie girl, about 1 to 1 1/2 years old, approx. 15 lbs, full of energy and spunk! Gina is a friendly pup, but may play the shy game for the first approach when meeting. Gina is playful, jumpy, curious, and always in motion! She needs manners training for sure! I believe she would enjoy another dog to play with, but will need some guidance in the sharing department. I recommend a home where she will get plenty of exercise and formal training. NO small children, teens and even tweens would be probably be fine. Gina can get overly enthusiastic when getting treats, she may bite at the fingers that feed her when taking a treat, we are working on this! Gina is not fully housebroken, but is smart, so I think she will catch on fast. She is OK on a leash, and walks best on a harness. She will need a seat harness or crate while traveling until she learns that the car is not a playground! Lots of potential here, Gina just needs to be channeled in the right direction! :) Gina is in the Chicagoland area.
