Ive been recently separated from my boyfriend, and now that I dont have to look after him I am blossoming into a wonderful little dog. Everybody thinks I look just like Yoda. I have a couple of foster siblings & I am learning to play with them gently, cause they are smaller than I am. The smallest one regularly tells me off when I get too close to her mom or her dinner dish (I hate to admit that Im a bit afraid of her). I chased a cat yesterday & he made a hissy noise at me that scared me. A baby up the street from my house petted me and I liked it but I dont think I would like to live with kids, they might be rough on me & I wouldnt want to hurt one; Im pretty big for a little dog. I love to cuddle, let me sit in your lap while you rub my tummy & I am the happiest creature alive. I could stay there forever, my eyes will close & I sigh so contentedly. I love to sleep close to your leg at night. Never mind that...

I love to sleep close to your leg at night. Never mind that Im 25lbs, I think I am a lapdog, therefore I am! I have been on a pretty strict diet of Lamb & Rice and my foster mom has just started bathing me in a special shampoo that seems to show an even better improvement in my skin condition. Im not scratching nearly as much as I was and most of the raw wounds have healed and my fur is starting to grow back in. I feel so much better now and I definitely look & smell better! I guess I will always need a special diet and frequent baths to keep my skin comfortable & looking good. Mom used to bathe me every 3 days but now its about 10 days between thats about a 90% improvement in 90 days. Im a good girl in the laundry tub when she bathes me and then I run around afterwards like crazy. The Vet that I see suggested testing me for allergies but the rescue cant afford that. When I was sick my house training sort of regressed but Im starting to remember that I have to save it till I go outside - I really like going for walks but have to learn not to pull so much; I dont need much exercise I would be a good condo dog. I like car rides & meeting other people, I am quiet, gentle, starting to be playful and just want a mommy or daddy of my own to love me. I really, really would like a person to stay at home with me, I miss my boyfriend. Would you like to adopt me please?
