Issac Tabby Vine Grove, KY

Isaac is a handsome young tabby male, who was found as a stray in a Radcliff neighborhood. Isaac was trapped and brought to ARC with his collar wedged in his right armpit. Apparently at one point someone had cared for Isaac, but unfortunately the collar they put on him was not a breakaway collar and when he attempted to remove the collar it got stuck around his armpit. He was in this state for some time and when we were able to remove the collar, Isaac was left with a stinky wound that thankfully healed up rather quickly.

Isaac was so thankful to be out of pain and he instantly warmed up to us. This is a very affectionate cat, who likes to hug and be held and gets along great with other kitties. Currently he is in our kitten room at ARC where he has taken on the role of big brother to the kittens. Recently Isaac was at Feeders Supply in Elizabethtown where he got to meet Santa Claus and tell him what he wanted for Christmas. We can only assume he asked for a family and a forever home.

Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
