Meet Max
MUST have: a secure, fenced yard, a female only home, a home with another friendly dog

Breed: Lab mix
Weight: Approximately 20 lbs.
Fur: Short black/dark grey colour
Sex: Male
Max, a recent arrival, is a spirited and loveable 3 year boy who loves to snuggle. He is much more comfortable with women and children. He loves the kids in his foster home and readily gives kisses. He has a difficult time adjusting to men so needs a female only home.
Max gets along well with other dogs both on leash or in secure fenced settings. He is sometimes timid and tends to jump with loud noises but is gaining confidence from the resident dog in his foster home. He even pals around with the resident bunny!
This little guy needed to be rescued. He initially tested positive for heartworm but has received treatment and is now doing well. He had bald patches on his back and head but his fur is now growing in nicely.
Max is one smart boy who learns quickly. He has developed great recall skills and has learned from the resident dog to alert you when someone is at the door. He is also very close to ringing a bell to tell you he needs to go outside!
