Taylor is a sweet fuzzy girl with a happy personality. She is currently growing her coat back in after her bath and shave. She is apparently a new designer breed Bichon Spaniel and has the wonderful temperament of both.

Being a puppy mill survivor, she is a flight risk and not yet leash trained. She would love a secure outdoor space to run and play now and then and would do best with another dog in the house to show her how to be a happy family dog.

Taylor has had some dental work done and may require more in the future.

Taylor is also not likely house trained.

Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.

Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.

We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.

*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.

*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs spayed or neutered, and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.

*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.


*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
