Dunham Border Collie Mix Springfield, MO

Hey, everyone! My name is Dunham! You might be thinking that's a strange name for such a sweet and beautiful girl like me, but my foster parents named me after a strong a smart character from one of their favorite shows just so you would know there's a lot more than sweetness and beauty to this strong and intelligent girl. I'm a 38 pound Border Collie mix and around 1-2 years old. You might be asking yourself what makes me so strong and smart. Well, my foster mom says I'm smart because I was a stray and I'm already housetrained and learning basic commands! And she says I'm strong because the vet thinks I got hit by a car (and that's how my leg got broken) and I kept on surviving on my own until some nice people found me and got me to Rescue One. We don't know the prognosis for my leg yet, but my injury doesn't seem to slow me down. I love to play and run, and I love food and toys! I get along well with other dogs, but haven't been around kitties or little ones yet. I can be quite vocal when you leave for work, so apartment life may not be the life for me right now, while I learn that you'll always come back home to me. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
