Maggie American Eskimo Dog Elmhurst, IL

UPDATE 12/2018 - Maggie is doing fantastic in her foster home, loving her foster mommy, daddy and college age boys! Maggie loves to have all the attention on her! She is also getting used to being with larger dogs, in her past she was mostly around dogs her own size. Maggie is doing quite well on leash too!

Say hello to Chicagoland Eskie Rescue's Miss Maggie! Maggie is a 3 year old cutie-pie, all Eskie, but with the most adorable tipped-over ears, and weighing in at 14-15 lbs. Maggie is shy; she warms up to new people slowly and can not be bombarded with new people in her face. She needs time, space, and patience. Maggie is also new to the U.S. and the midwest, .....and is a rescue from Kuwait. Maggie becomes a very playful pup once she opens up, but again this takes time. Maggie will do best in a home with another dog; she loves to run around, she likes to get rough and tumble with a little bit of doggie wrestling.....and sometimes a lot of doggie wrestling! :) Maggie is also affectionate and loves cuddle time. Maggie is good with kitties, but no small children, teens would be fine. Maggie is in the Chicagoland area.
