Meet Gene. Gene is a handsome 8 month old male American Bull Dog, not a pit bull. Gene came into our group from ESTL when his owner could not longer care for him. Gene has allergies that can be controlled with proper diet of Wild Prey Trout Limited Ingredients. There will be times that Gene will need to be on Benedryl and possibly Apoquel if Gene eats things that are not on his allergy list. Please keep in mind, that it is common for American Bull dogs to have allergies. Gene is allergic to chicken/turkey and their feathers, cotton, cats, peanuts (which includes peanut butter) and certain grasses.

Lets talk about the good. He is an amazing pup that is very in tune to his humans and the animals around him. He is dog and cat friendly but sadly allergic to cats. Gene is house and crate trained. Gene loves a great massage, camping on the couch to catch a show, and loves going places. He is a very social guy that enjoys time with his family.
