Meet Donnie Darko:: 3 years old, 116 pounds, Neutered Male Great Dane.

This gorgeous Mantle Great Dane was found running loose in a park. After a week of trying to locate his owners, it became evident that no one was looking for him.

Fortunately for him, he has now received his much needed vet care and neuter :) Donnie Darko is ready to find his forever home!

Donnie Darko is amazingly sweet and well-mannered, walks well on a leash, knows some basic commands, housebroken, is great with other dogs, loves children, doesn't know a stranger, and doesn't pay any attention to his foster's cat. Donnie Darko even handed us his paw to have his extremely long nails trimmed with zero struggling or stress.

This boy is just awesome in every way!

A fully fenced in yard is required to adopt Donnie Darko. We will also be looking for adopters with Great Dane or mastiff experience.

$200 Adoption Fee. Donnie Darko is now neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs.

Once your application is submitted, you will be redirected to a confirmation page on our website. This is your confirmation that we received your application. Please read the page thoroughly so you will know what to expect next in our adoption process.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
