Alice came to us from a rescue in Thailand. She is currently living in a foster home with a dog and a cat Alice is friendly when people approach and enjoys being petted. She is independent and self-contained. She does love attention and in her foster home, if the foster’s dog is getting attention she will swing her rear end around to knock the other dog out of the way (but they get along well). She is happy to sit in your lap or sit by your side. And Alice loves to look out windows!

Alice came with bad teeth which had to be removed but that does not get her down. You can see her tongue at the side of her mouth which gives her a cute, distinctive dash of pink on her face
.
Alice is housetrained and walks well on a leash. Alice can be playful (check out her video), but because she is older she might prefer a quieter home without young children who want a more active dog.

Do you need a faithful companion to be part of your life? Alice is your girl!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting http://www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program/
