We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.
*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.
*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are up to current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.
*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.
*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
Karma is a big puppy at heart. She is about a year old and super friendly and happy. She needs basic training and exercise every day but is already learning to walk nicely on a leash.
She has done well with meeting dogs at the shelter but she plays very rough and is persistent.
Karma came to us after her person passed away and is hoping to find a new active home soon.
Due to her size and energy level Karma would not be a great fit for apartment living or living with toddlers.
We cannot confirm that dogs who come from the shelter will be house trained.
Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.
Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.
