Meet Gracie
Wide-eyed with wonder, sleek 7-pound Gracie is lovely in licorice. After her owners fell on hard times, the 1.5 to 2-year-old Chihuahua entered our care, cautious and fearful of her new environment, having never been properly socialized. But what a difference the months have made. Thanks to gentle and patient persistence, she is more at ease and more trusting, happily waiting to be let out of her kennel, greeting you warmly, and eager to play. She loves toys, loves romping about in the yard, and although she still lacks confidence walking on a leash, she is more than ready to find a fur-ever home, preferably with another playful dog, to continue her socialization and complete her education in exchange for her grateful Gracie love.
