Meet Tiger

Name: Tiger
Age: approximately 3
Sex: NM
Approx. Weight: 61 lbs
Ears/Tail: Natural, docked
Hw Status: Negative
Available: September 13, 2018

Likes: Car rides, other dogs, treats, time with “his” person.

Dislikes: None in foster home (with a single person, pugs and boxers)

Looking for: A home with one or two dogs to play with and an active person to give me lots of love and attention and training since I’m still a young boy!

A Little About Me: I am a strikingly handsome young fellow, brindle stripes on a deep red coat, with a typical outgoing boxer personality. I was found by somebody called Animal Control and they turned me over to a very nice clinic who kept me for 22 days—finally getting me to Rockin’ P Rescue. 22 days is a long time to be in a run at a vet clinic; I don’t ever want to be a stray (whatever that is!) again! I stay in a fenced yard just fine to potty and run a little, although I’d much rather be inside with my person. I get along just fine with my boxer brother and sister and two pug sisters.
My foster mom says I am very smart; I learned my new name in about 2 hours and always come when she calls. I know “sit”, but sometimes have to be reminded. I crate well (but might whine for a few minutes…after all, I’d rather be with YOU). I’m doing very well with housebreaking; mom gets me out on a regular schedule as soon as she gets home and after meals and such.
I can be an exuberant youngster after I’ve had a good night’s sleep or been crated for awhile and may leap around some—but I’m pretty good about not leaping ON anyone. I would like for it to be ok for me to counter surf, but I understand “No” and I’m learning “Off”! Until I’ve had a little more training and exposure to children, I might do better with older kids, just because of my youth. I do try really hard to always do what my foster mom wants me to do and I promise I’ll do the same for you. Mention me on your application today!
