Blakesly Domestic Short Hair Bloomsburg, PA

This sweet little black tabby kitten is Blakesley. She was one of 4 kittens born to a stray in a Bloomsburg barn. Seemed like the property owners just wanted them “all gone for good” right after they were born. We pleaded for them to at least feed the mother so she could have healthy kittens when they were ready to come to the shelter.

Instead mom and kittens were lucky enough to go to a foster home when they were 6 weeks old where they were introduced to a home setting. Blakesley’s mom and littermates all got adopted leaving poor Blakesley to come to the shelter by herself when foster mom had to go for surgery. She was reserved at first, but has blossomed into a curious and loving kitten.

Although playful she likes to also lounge on your lap and give love nibbles. She never seems to get tired of being pet and rubbed and has learned that a cute little meow and soft paw on you arm will get her extra attention. She will pay you back with loud purrs. She also likes to crawl up on your chest to get and give kisses.

Blakesly was born in May 2018 and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is up-to-date on vaccines, litter trained, dewormed and spayed. If you are interested in adopting Blakesley please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920 or myefko@verizon.net.
