Meet Babs, the spunkiest, most cheerful little girl despite all she's been through. Babs was found on the side of a freeway after being hit by a car. She had emergency surgery to close up her wounded eye and she's quickly growing back her fluffy fur but she doesn't let little cosmetic details like that dampen her spirits! Her cheerfulness is infectious! The vet guessed Babs is around 6-10 years old, but we think she's on the younger side of that range given her vivacious and playful attitude. That being said, she is a bit hard of hearing and sight. Babs loves to wiggle on her back or toss toys around gleefully. After a good walk with plenty of sniffs, nothing makes her happier than a cuddle and ear scratches. Babs would make a great companion for a senior or retired family, because she loves to be with her people as much as possible. She'd do fine with cats, kids, and other dogs, but would prefer them on the calmer and older side. She lets you know when she needs to go out and potty by letting out a bark at the front door. Babs is current on shots, microchipped and neutered. The adoption fee for Babs is $125.
