Meet Edie:: 4 year old, ~80 pounds, Spayed Female Great Pyrenees.
Available for Adoption!
Poor Edie was left at a kill shelter by her owners and nearly shut down completely from being so scared and sad in the shelter. This sweet girl is happy to be out and getting the love and care she deserves. Edie does well with other dogs and people. Due to her size, a home without small children is preferred. Edie was surrendered along with a cat she lived with, so so a home with dog savvy cats should be ok for her.
A fenced in yard is required to adopt Edie and experience with the breed would be a plus.
$95 adoption fee. Edie is Spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.
Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs.

Once your application is submitted, you will be redirected to a confirmation page on our website. This is your confirmation that we received your application. Please read the page thoroughly so you will know what to expect next in our adoption process.
Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.
IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
