Hello! My name is Chance because I am told I look just like a dog from a movie called "Homeward Bound". I don't know what that is but I do know that I LOVE people and getting lots of pets from them! I love to play nicely with my toys and run around the fenced in yard here at the shelter. I was out in a home for a little while but after a few days I became very protective of my new owner when we were walking on leash around town so this is something that I would like some help to overcome. Here at the shelter I like to play with the other big dogs and I love to play fetch! If you are looking for a big, sweet dog with a happy heart and are willing to help me with my leash training then come visit me!

Adoption fee is $175. Our adoption fees go directly toward the medical care of our animals. Vet services provided by Wildwood Animal Hospital.

Dogs are NOT housed at our Adoption Center in Marshfield Mall; they are at our intake facility on 29th Street or in foster care. Special arrangements to meet our dogs can be made AFTER we receive your completed and approved adoption application. At this time, we do not have open public hours at our intake facility. All animals are vet examined, spayed/neutered, blood tested and microchipped. If old enough, they receive routine vaccinations.
