Shimmer is a beautiful spayed female that has had her front paws declawed. She has a thick coat and a cute pink nose that will make you smile. Shimmer was born on 04/30/16 and has lived in the same quiet home with one owner since she was a young kitten. Then, the unforeseen happened - her previous owner needed nursing home care, and Shimmer must find a new forever home. Another quiet household would be best for this lovely feline as the chaos of being a shelter resident has been a bit overwhelming for her. Shimmer is good with other cats, dogs, and gentle children, but is independent and prefers a quiet lifestyle. She has a couch potato kind of personality and enjoys lounging near a window where she can relax and enjoy watching for birds and squirrels to entertain her. Shimmer is shy and cautious at first, but once she has had time to get to know you she becomes playful and is such a joy to be around. A gentle touch and wand toys are the way to this ladies heart.
