Meet Chione
Your Own Chione (Kee-own)
Are you a northern spirit? Do you fall in love with Huskies at first welp? Let us Introduce you to Chione, a 3 year old spayed Husky right here at The Animal Resource Center in Bloomsburg, PA. Chione has already done her share of traveling, hiking, camping, and exploring; from the PA Wilds up through the Adirondacks, and out along to the old Acadian coast.
Unfortunately life took a tragic turn for Chione's owner, and this beautiful dog were surrendered to the care of ARC. Chione had been meticulously cared for and thoroughly loved, but now she is struggling with her sudden confinement and disappointing change. She is hanging in there and hoping for a swift rescue!
Chione would do best in a home without cats and/or another alpha dog. She has endured so much sorrow and her emotions are somewhat sensitive. Chione needs a true dog saint, a person of patience and perhaps experience with Huskies or Shepherds. Mostly she needs love and space.
Chione responds to commands such as sit, paw, and lay-down; she catches treats with spectacular skill; she can be high strung, but she also can chill.
Driving Chione to the shelter was very difficult, but delivering her to a new home will be joyous. Chione is on the small side for a Husky, but she compensates for her slender frame with her super-sized attitude and big bushy tail.
Chione is up to date on shots and microchipped.
