I was rescued from Puerto Rico. I was born 7/01/17 and currently weigh 10 pounds. I am a little shy but very sweet. I especially love other doggo friends!

Katie's Story: Part 1
Katie came to Tri-County Animal Rescue on March 17, 2018. She was one of 60 dogs we rescued from Puerto Rico, on one of our many life-saving missions following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria. While we weren’t given many details about Katie’s past (aside from her date of birth---7/1/17), it quickly became obvious that she endured unimaginable trauma. Katie, the sweetest little puppy, is terrified of people. Being in a shelter can be stressful for even the calmest of animals—but for Katie it became unbearable.
At Tri-County Animal Rescue, our devotion to these animals knows no limits nor boundaries. Therefore, this past Tuesday, we moved Katie into one of our qualified foster parent’s home and provided a certified trainer to assist with her rehabilitation. We are 100% committed to this treatment plan for Katie, but it IS costly, and we DO need your help! We fervently hope you’ll join us in supporting Katie.
