It may be a little intimidating when considering adopted a special needs furbaby such as Juliette, but it doesn't have to be. Juliette is beautiful, medium-sized, solid grey kitty who just so happens to be FeLV (Feline Leukemia) positive. What this means is that she should be your ONLY cat unless you already have, or are considering adopting another positive cat. FeLV cats need to live INDOORS ONLY and can only spread the virus to other cats, so you don't have to worry, Juliette won't make you or your dog sick. She does a weakened immune system which means if Juliette gets sick, she would need to go to the vet maybe a little sooner than a non-positive kitty.

Juliette is a very calm kitty, who will paw at you to get you to pet her. Once you do, she will likely start licking you. As you can see, Juliette is a very sweet girl and she gets along well with all of her roommates. She comes to as from Hardin County Animal Shelter and she has been a real joy to have in our FeLV Room. Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
