Bud English Setter Spring City, TN

Bud is an 8 yr old male Setter who came into OESR from Mississippi. He is happy to finally be retired from hunting. Bud was a hot mess when he landed at his foster home, his eye were crusted shut and were thought he has vision loss. His poor skin and fur were so filthy and itchy that his foster ended up shaving him to help get everything clean and healthy.
Bud has made great improvements his eyes are much better as is his skin.. his fur will continue to come back as he stays on a healthy diet.

Bud is pretty laid back but still has plenty of spunk i.e. he not a couch potato, and he doesn’t have all the juvenile antics of those young dogs..
Bud is looking for a fun loving family that will let him rest on the couch but also active enough to keep him spry..

If you are interested in adopting BUD or another OESR dog, you must complete the application process at www.oesr.org. We will not be able to answer your questions about this dog until he has been assessed at which time the information will be available here or on our website.

All adoptive homes must have a fenced yard or other type of containment or boundaries for the dog. Vet and personal reference checks as well as a home visit will be conducted prior to final adoption approval for all OESR dogs.

Adoption fees range from 250.00 to 395.00
