Meet Stump
Stump is a charming 1-year-old neutered male waiting for a quiet forever home. He has a handsome and very soft orange tabby coat highlighted by light yellow/green eyes and a loving personality that can't be missed. Stump may seem a little shy or scared at first, but he warms up quickly, and before you know it, he will be leaning onto your hand, or bunting you with his head to let you know that he appreciates any attention that comes his way. Stump feels confident while in your arms, and cheek rubs will surely trigger a purr of contentment as his paws start to knead on you. He enjoys being petted so much that you may find him migrating up to your face so that he can touch noses with you, or give you a hug. Stump is playful and enjoys having fun with wand-toys that have a human attached to the other end.
He was rescued this past winter when he was found scared and lost during a snow storm. The owner was not found and they already had too many cats, so Stump was surrendered to the shelter on 05/12/18. He becomes nervous with loud noises and sudden movements, so the shelter has been quite overwhelming for him. All in all, he is doing well, but is anxious for a quiet household where he can relax and feel safe all the time
We want to alert you that some communities, landlords, management companies, and insurance agencies have size and breed restrictions, limits on number of pets, and/or require pet deposits or additional fees. Before adopting, we encourage all adopters to know what restrictions may apply to you.
